SUMMER EXPOSURE COMPILATION

Release showcase at The Mink: Saturday, May 16
ArtStorm Records releases its first band compilation of Houston’s finest up and coming bands, Summer Exposure on Saturday, May 16. The release party and showcase takes place from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM at The Mink (The Backroom), located at 3718 Main Street at Alabama. The showcase features all of the bands on the compilation with special guests The Young Mammals, B L A C K I E, and Austin’s One Hundred Flowers. The cover charge is $10 with a copy of the compilation included in admission, and the drink specials are $2 Lonestars and $3 calls.
Summer Exposure is ArtStorm Records’ fifth release and all tracks were recorded by Joe Weber (guitarist of News on the March) at his Master Bedroom Studio. It is released in a run of 500 hand-silkscreened CD-Rs with hand-silkscreened covers in varying colors. The Mathletes, News on the March, Buxton, ListenListen, Elaine Greer, Alpaca, Bolt, The Brood and Giant Princess each contribute two previously unreleased tracks to the compilation.
